Hi Kay!

Thanks again for a really fun interview. The chickens appreciate the mention and are now intently making some really special free range eggs for your Tribe. ( Fitting that a Type A like myself would have Type A chickens right? ) We're looking very forward to your visit and welcoming the Tribe!

You are so right, Elizabeth. Just saying "I have made a mistake" to ourselves is the biggest challenge! The cool thing is when we do finally give ourselves permission to 'fail' and move on, we discover a huge reservoir of untapped energy just waiting to do great things. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

When I saw the title, I thought, " heck no I do it with a John Deere Tractor.". You got my number. There was a time when I fell for the platitude pablum, but not at my age. I want real positive outcomes.

Howdy Kay,
That's a great story about the truck. I loved it. I really have never heard much about the truck or Papa Lee. I went to a car show in Winnsboro today and won an award for having one of the top 3 trucks there. Later, Chris

Well, Kay, my Texas sister in spirit! as you know, I have Texan roots and they merge with my NC heritage in some interesting ways. On the Texan side, I never had the opportunity to live the ranch life. But the stories of my TX ranger great and grand fathers are great fun. And the great grandfather must have deeded me "resilience". He made a million, lost a million and made a million a few times over. The best story of resilience and southern hospitality was the evening he was hosting a big dinner party when the house caught fire. He had the dining room furniture moved out to the lawn as the house burned and the dinner continued.
Does that sound like the southern belle you know?
